While I could just create new Mac user profiles for both usersĪnd be done with it, one user will require a significant amount of migration work to make this happen which I'm hoping to avoid. They are also able to open them in the web-based apps from SharePoint (via the Office portal) so it would appear that the files are not corrupted.

The users are also able to save any files to their desktops and open them in any of the Office apps without a When I created a new Mac user profile on the same computer and sync'd the same SharePoint docs to this profile, the apps no longer crashed.
